amfmateus.org
Small private web apps built and run by Alexandre Mateus.
These are tools I build for my own work and for a small team I work with. Each runs on a server I manage myself. They are private: you need an account, given by me or by an administrator, to sign in, which is why each address shows only a sign-in screen.
This page says what each app is and what email it sends. All of it is sent from addresses on amfmateus.org.
How the email works
- Transactional and operational only. Sign-in links, invitations, a daily summary or digest the recipient's team asked for, and event invitations and passes.
- No marketing. No newsletters, no promotions, no purchased or scraped lists, no cold email.
- Every recipient is known. Each one is an app user, a colleague added to a daily report by its owner, or a guest an organiser invited to a specific event.
- Low volume. A few hundred messages a month in total.
- Stopping it. Sign-in and invitation emails are sent only when someone asks for them. Daily reports go to a list kept by the person who runs that report, and anyone who asks is removed.
The apps
Mira
A personal knowledge base: notes, documents, tasks and the links between them.
Its email is a daily task summary: each team member gets only their own open tasks.

Email: Your tasks, Sun 25 Oct: 7 due in the next 10 days (1 overdue)
- Sent
- Sent daily at 06:00 to each team member, with only their own open tasks due in the next 10 days; nothing is sent to someone with no such tasks.
- Stopping it
- No unsubscribe link; the operator removes the person from the script's recipient list.

Newstracker
Collects news from chosen sources and has an AI write a short daily digest for a team.

Email: Exampleland, 4 Mar: Widget import licences · Policy rate held · Record port volumes
- Sent
- Sent once a day when a news pipeline's scheduled run finishes its digest, to the recipient list the pipeline's owner sets in its delivery settings (colleagues of that team).
- Stopping it
- No unsubscribe link; the pipeline owner removes the address from the delivery's recipient list.

miliEU
A shared contact directory with event planning: guest lists, invitations, RSVPs and check-in.
Event invitations go to guests an organiser chose from the directory for one specific event. Each guest gets one invitation per event, with a link to answer it.

Email: You're invited to Example Organisation on miliEU
- Sent
- Sent when an organisation admin invites a new user to the workspace, or resends a pending invitation, to the invitee's address; the link expires in 7 days.
- Stopping it
- required for sign-in (account activation); it is sent only when an admin invites or re-invites that address.

Email: Invitation: Spring Reception 2027
- Sent
- Sent when an event organiser sends the approved invitations for an event, one message per guest whose preferred contact channel is email; the text is the organiser's draft (shown here: the app's default draft).
- Stopping it
- No unsubscribe link; the guest can decline through the RSVP link or reply to the organisation, which can remove them from the guest list or erase their contact record.

Email: Your pass for Spring Reception 2027
- Sent
- Sent only when a guest presses the button on their own RSVP page asking for their check-in pass, to the email address on file for them.
- Stopping it
- Sent only on the guest's own request; nothing is sent unless they ask.

Office football pool
A score-prediction game among colleagues during the World Cup.

Email: Tu enlace de acceso / Your sign-in link
- Sent
- Sent when someone asks for a sign-in link on the pool's login page, to the address they typed; the link opens a confirmation page and expires in 24 hours.
- Stopping it
- required for sign-in

Email: Atlantis 2–1 Freedonia · +4 pts
- Sent
- Sent once per match, the first time its result is recorded, to every activated player of the pool (admins excluded); the welcome, round-open, one-hour reminder, round-locked and final-standings emails use the same template.
- Stopping it
- No unsubscribe link or setting in the code; the pool admin deactivates the player in the admin settings, which stops every pool email.

Official publications digest
(no web page, a scheduled job)
Each morning, reads the day's official publications and emails a short analysis of what matters to a small internal list.
Email: Official publications (4 Mar 2027): 2 items from the Official Gazette, 1 from public consultations
- Sent
- Sent once a day after the run analyses the day's official publications, to the fixed internal recipient list.
- Stopping it
- No unsubscribe link; the address is removed from the list on request.

All examples on this page use invented names, places and figures.
